Our professional teaching staff is directed by USPTA certified Head Pro, Charl Grobler, who has an extensive background in teaching tennis and playing performance. TENNIS CAMPS are taught year round by certified instructors using time proven progressions to produce the best results. Our approach is to teach students with enthusiasm and to be positive role models. Programs are available all year round.  Check current season program flyer for days and times.

ACADEMY TENNIS: 
Tournament competitors. Approval required by Charl.

MINI PROS (Ages 5-9)
Lessons geared for learning tennis through the Quickstart method which utilizes specialized equipment, shorter court dimensions and modified scoring; all tailored to age and size of students. 

FUTURE PROS (Ages 10-14)
Designed just for middle school age kids looking to accelerate their progress towards high school tennis.


ADULT GROUP TENNIS INSTRUCTION

Cardio Tennis: Choose from various times to get your workout in along with great tennis tips and instruction.  Instructor: Charl Grobler

CHARL GROBLER, HEAD TENNIS PRO

Charl, USPTA Pro certified, was named the top Senior player in the Pacific Northwest. Charl instructs a variety of levels at the club offering both private and group lessons.

Charl loves being able to help others improve their games as well as sharing the positive qualities that tennis brings to everyone. He appreciates the fact that tennis teaches one to focus better and naturally brings one to seek a healthy perspective in life. He also enjoys the mentoring aspect and believes that tennis offers the best opportunity to strengthen friendships and learn how to harness strong emotional feelings in a productive way. He holds a strong belief that Improving one’s tennis game is a journey that makes them a better person.  During his free time, Charl enjoys riding motorcycles, golfing and surfing. Email Charl

Jamie Carter  

ASSISTANT TENNIS PRO

Jamie has been living in the Wenatchee area for much of his life. He has been an instructor at the WRAC for 25 years, a High School tennis coach for 19 years, and a Middle School Basketball coach for 10 years. Jamie has also been a USPTA certified tennis instructor for 9 years. He has a deep love of the game, and has worked with nearly all of the areas top junior players. When he is not at the WRAC, Jamie enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with his family.
