LISA S. SMITH - GROUP FITNESS COORDINATOR
WATER WORKOUT, GENTLE FITNESS, PERSONAL TRAINER
Lisa joined the WRAC team as a new member to the community and state of WA In 2015. Lisa, her husband Greg, and daughter Madelyn, moved from Sacramento for Greg’s new job at the PUD and also welcomed son Nathan so after.  Lisa graduated from Oregon state with a bachelors in Exercise and Sports Science so she is familiar with the beautiful Pacific Northwest.  Lisa has spent the majority of her last 10 years working as an Exercise Physiologist and Fitness Asst. Manager at an active adult community.  Lisa is an ACE certified Personal Trainer and Advanced Health and Fitness specialist as well as an AFAA certified Group Exercise Instructor.  Her specialties include: Post-rehab, Balance and Strength programming, Older Adult Mobility and Conditioning, TRX, Aqua Exercise and Tabata training.  Lisa loves her work and tries to practice what she preaches, even though its extra hard during football season!  Email Lisa.

JACKIE ANDREWJESKI

Growing up in New Zealand, Jackie has a life-long interest in exercise, health and fitness. From playing sports in college to hiking in the great New Zealand outdoors, she has long appreciated the benefits gained from being active.  Her desire to share those benefits with others was the reason for becoming an instructor.

TAMMI FLYNN

Tammi is a group exercise instructor, certified personal trainer and registered dietitian. She has been in the industry since the 80’s with most recent certifications in Crossfit and as a Sports Nutrition Specialist. 

Her current interests are working with young athletes with programming and diet to maximize their performance. She has worked with local soccer, lacrosse, track, cross country skiing, wrestling and hockey teams, and has even written a Fitness and Nutrition book, The “3 Apple-a-Day” Plan: Your Foundation for Permanent Fat Loss.  Email Tammi.

KEITH BAIER - FITNESS DIRECTOR

Keith received his Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Science from the University of Idaho, and also is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with The National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Most recently a co-owner of a club in Seattle, Keith trained all levels of clientele, as well as developed sports-specific programs for athletes...while running a 6,000 sq. ft. facility! Keith was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for Seattle University's swim team and previously acted as Fitness Director for another Seattle club.  Email Keith

RACHEL COOPER
RIP, PERSONAL TRAINER
Rachel is an ACE certified Personal Trainer and teaches weight training and functional training in her classes. Rachel enjoys running, cycling, wakeboarding, soccer and hiking. She has completed several half-marathons and her first full marathon in September 2011. She also plays on a co-ed indoor soccer league. When attending one of Rachel's classes, expect to work hard and have fun!  Email Rachel

Seana has been a life-long member of the WRAC. She grew up in Wenatchee with a family who has a passion for tennis and a love of fitness and the outdoors. In fact, Seana's parents Dean and Donna Parsons, being life-long members themselves had their first date after a tennis tournament at the WRAC! Seana's family, including her grandmother Betty Fager who recently turned 90 years young, still attends tennis functions at the WRAC and has been a life-long advocate of tennis, sharing her love of the game with others. Seana has recently found a new love for RIP at the WRAC and is a RIP certified fitness instructor. She also enjoys spending time with her family, her husband, two young children, and sharing her love of health and fitness with others.

JOLEEN HAAG
ZUMBA/GOLD, AQUA ZUMBA/TABATA, SILVER SNEAKERS, GROUP X, CYCLE
A Zumba Instructor since 2014 and now also certified in Aqua Zumba and Zumba Gold.  She loves being able to take the workout party to the pool as well.  Joleen is also ACE Group Exercise and Silver Sneakesrs certified. Joleen, her husband and 4 children, moved to Wenatchee from Utah and fallen in love with this area. "We love the outdoors and exploring, as well as photography and posting pictures of places we go and things we see."

Lisa has a lifelong love of health and fitness and has always enjoyed sharing this with others, even with the littlest of students. She began her teaching career at the elementary school level after graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Western Washington University. She holds a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from City University of Seattle as well. Lisa has taught students at the middle school level in Wenatchee but has enjoyed sharing her passion for health and wellness with students of all ages at the WRAC as a Fitness Instructor since 2010 and in early 2014, she graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition as a Certified Health Coach.

Dean is an ACE-Certified Personal Trainer, Yoga Fit level 2 instructor and has a very extensive background in Yoga.  Dean’s unique background allows him to better train the body as a whole.  Email Dean

Jamie is Yoga Fit certified level 1.  She has also completed the 200 hour yoga alliance.  Jamie has over 8 years in expereince with Yoga.  She is also a busy mother and wife.  When she is not in the studio, she enjoys the outdoors with hiking, sking, mountain biking and being on the river.

Joyce has been studying and enjoying Tai Chi for over 16 years and has taught Tai Chi since 2007.  She credits Tai Chi as the main factor for regaining health after a severe whiplash from an auto accident. Joyce beleives that Tai Chi is a healthy way of thinking, moving, and being. It ties all of our esscence into a balanced whole. Balance is the goal in life. She says "If you really want to make your Doctor happy, take Tai Chi."

Angie has been an outdoor enthusiast since moving to Wenatchee 11 years ago.  When not busy driving her kids to all their activities, she enjoys hiking, cycling and being out having fun in the sun with whomever is ready and willing.  She's currently attending college at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and will be practicing as a holistic Health Coach.  She is very excited about launching her career in fitness and wellness with instruction of the AXIS and Cycle Classes.

Chip RCHIP ROBERSON

Chip Roberson has been practicing yoga since 2007. He received his Yoga Fit level 2 certification in 2013. Chip had been a certified professional ski instructor since 1998. His experience as a ski instructor has provided a good background for teaching yoga.

From a young age Courtney sought out new physical challenges: ballet and running lead her to a deeper understanding of bodily mechanics and stretching. In 2009, she began to dig into the benefits of an asana yoga practice, gaining her first RYT-200 certification with the Yoga Alliance in 2011. After teaching in downtown Seattle for over 4 yrs, Courtney gained her next certification, ERYT-200, and took her yoga on a journey. In 2014, she traveled to Maui, Oahu, Kauai and Portland for an advanced RYT-500 Yoga Alliance certification. In 2015, Courtney moved back to Wenatchee and is excited to share her knowledge and passion of yoga with her hometown. 

AJAJ SAUCEDA
PERSONAL TRAINER, CYCLE AJ is a proud graduate of Eastern Washington University and an ACE certified personal trainer. AJ also teaches cycling classes and works on the front desk staff. AJ enjoys a fast passed active lifestyle that allows him to participate in a variety of ventures that he is passionate about. AJ enjoys play a variety of sports both competitively and recreationally, and is especially passionate about fitness and weight management. After winning the WRAC’s biggest loser challenge in 2015 AJ committed himself to helping other reach their fitness goals.

You'll find Tony involved in many acivities at the club.  After being recruited many years ago from the student side of the class room to that of instructor, his passion for cycling and helping students achieve their goals has transitioned him to a permanent instructor with full classes.  
When teaching cycle classes, you'll find him active with Racquetball as our teaching Pro and helping with programs and tournaments.

Dan is a retired police officer and a dedicated life-long martial artist. He maintains a strong conviction of service to the community and has been involved with youth programs for many years as a teacher, coach, counselor and mentor. His sense of duty and adventure has taken him across the country and around the globe to work on various development and humanitarian projects.

He first began incorporating yoga into his training regimen to aid in recuperation from injuries. His practice has deepened over the years and he now shares the tremendous health benefits and his love of the healing arts with others. Dan’s personal motto: “Open your heart in service to others and your own life will overflow with peace and joy.”

Niki Stewart has been studying and practicing yoga for over 25 years, and has been teaching in the Wenatchee Valley for 15 years.  She has studied many forms of Hatha Yoga; Iyenger, Ananda, Bikram, Anasura, Purna and Viniyoga, in Scotland, Japan, India, and America.
Her teaching style uses a combination of many yoga disciplines with a focus on moving with the breath and helping students find a deep inner peace in their yoga practice.  Her knowledge and education in human physiology and kinesiology enable her to gently and carefully instruct, encouraging self-discovery through the practice of asanas.  Her calming voice creates a healing and meditative atmosphere for her students.

Connie holds a dual certification with ACE as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. She believes in training each body to be well-rounded and capable in all areas of fitness. Connie teaches a variety of Cardio, Strength and Core classes at the club as well as our offsite Sr. Center class location, all with a focus on ‘functional’ exercise.  She’s been in the industry for over 20 years, as student, Instructor, Trainer, Manager and Club Owner.

Dave is WIAA and USATF licensed and an AFAA certified personal trainer, group exercise and indoor cycling instructor.  He currently coaches championship High School Cross Country and Track teams and guides individuals in weight loss, fitness, triathlon, bicycling and running programs. Dave’s experience as an elite athlete and inspirational multiple sport coach is based on his principle that “it’s about HAVE-N-FUN”!  Email Dave

 Participating in sports was part of Emma's life throughout her school career, and working with people to make a  positive impact in their lives is her passion. So after graduating Westside High in 2012, she worked several different  jobs before taking a part-time position at The WRAC's front desk in 2015- where she has found her niche! She  began participating in fitness classes, and was quickly inspried to begin her certification to become a group fitness  instructor. She is now teaching a variety of classes here at the club- Booty Barre being her favorite so far! Outside of  The WRAC, Emma looks forward to baseball season & day-trips to Safeco Field for an afternoon Mariners game. As  Membership Services Coordinator & Instructor, she enjoys sharing her enthusiasm & passion for fitness with current  & future  members!

 

Darillyn DARILLYN FLONES
CARDIO RIP
Darillyn is a lifelong sports and fitness enthusiast with a degree in Recreation Administration!Darillyn and husband Brian moved Wenatchee in the late 80's and while her love, priority, and privilege was to raise their four children, she always kept an eye out for how to squeeze in exercise ~ from teaching fitness classes of "aerobics" and step, to biking and running for 3 decades then taking up the sport and competition of tennis. A WRAC member for over 15 years, she considers it a joy to become involved in serving other WRAC members on a deeper level through fitness instruction. "Give me an 8-count routine and Let's Move"!

LESLIE LEVENBERG
DANCEPIRATION, JUST DANCE, LINE DANCING
Leslie, group exericse certified and Originally from New York City, began studying dance in Kindergarten and soon began to study as many dance styles as possible. Leslie became passionate about changing the world and left the USA in 1972 to engage in full-time humanitarian work. Years of dance were not wasted and teaching dance and exercise became an integral part of many projects working with financially underprivileged children, refugees, senior citizen's, youth groups and so much more. Leslie lived abroad for 40 years in about 15 countries. She returned to the States to care for her mom and after four years began anew again bringing her to Wenatchee and hoping to bring her love of dance and music to all who would like to dance with her!
